  • Just What is it I Do?

I help businesses realise the long term strategic value inherent in their data assets through the use of cool and emergent technologies like digital identity, semantics, privacy enhancing tech, (social) graph leverage, community, mobile and marketing technologies.

My passion as a Strategist lies in looking at the human side of business; looking at the what, why and when of how technologies affect us all, influence human interplay and changes in the marketplace within which we conduct business.

My role is helping organisations create an environment in which the business, its drivers, information and assets can be socialised, dissected, examined, discussed, and even ignored. It’s about wrangling everything that impacts business and creating a space in which a plan for innovation and change to meet the needs of the changing marketplace can thrive.

My skill is in facilitating the breaking down of what is often thought of as a big, untidy, fully integrated thing into its actual discrete distributed components, identifying and defining the glue that makes things work – and where needed mixing up a new pot of glue, it’s about creating value from achievable and agile strategy.

My approach is quite simply about placing the needs, wants and rights of consumers to safeguard their personal information at the very core of business.  By empowering the consumer in regaining and retaining control over what is after-all theirs this approach clearly demonstrates the huge potential benefits, savings, advantages and opportunities just waiting to be seized upon.
