I’ve just had an hour long teleconference with some interesting people by the end of which people’s phones had started running low on battery.

What interested me was that it wasn’t the cost of an hour’s call on their mobile that halted the proceedings but rather the cost on their batteries.

Anyone else see the problem here? We’ve gotten to the point where call minutes are so cheap that the technology cannot keep up with our desire to utilise them.
